Life Imitates Art (again!)

This is Leonor Alcácer, who plays the part of the bored housewife Laura Costa in the Portuguese soap opera, "Os Nossos Dias", which can be seen here: http://www.rtp.pt/play/p1305/e129244/os-nossos-dias
This wonderful actress has nice, high cheekbones, and an interesting way of scrunching up her face when she's angry at her husband, which reminded me of "Cruella deVille" in the Disney feature "101 Dalmations".  After adding the black and white hair and the fur coat, sure enough, she seems to look like the animated version (at least Animan thinks so).

    I thought she was wonderful in that, even if she didn't look very much like the animated version...

    Actually, I've come to think actress Jane Lynch, (Glee's Coach Sue Sylvester), would make a great live-action Cruella De Vil. What do you think?

      It's a good idea, but I'm afraid not. Making a video with Disney characters and selling it would not be fair to Disney's copyright.
      By the way, I would like to buy some Disney animation DVDs from Brazil. Do you know anyone who can help me with that?

    Also, for a live action role of Cruella De Vil, then consider someone who could give a genuine performance as a creepy, posh spoiled British heiress who's looking to skin 99 Dalmatian puppies; "Absolutely Fabulous" 's Joanna Lumley. And finally, on the subject of who else should be considered for the live action role of Maleficent, you mustn't forget that the character actress who voiced her, Eleanor Audley, was also used as Maleficent's live-action reference.

      Yes, Joanna Lumley would make an absolutely fabulous Cruella.
      Next post, I'll have a video with Eleanor Audley in it. She's fascinating to watch.
