Camp Animatic


I found this on my computer--and I thought I'd share it with you. For one section of the camp video, I made this 'animatic', to sort of get an idea of how it would look. Basically, it's just like a comic strip, with so many seconds for each shot. This helps me predict the timing and dialogue, and acts as a blueprint for the animation. 
This scene had a lot of stuff going on--the dialogue among the three guys, the business about the soiled undies, and then taking turns, and all that. I wanted to make sure I got the right mood. So, I made this animatic, which is pretty close to the finished animation, except for the ending. I didn't like this ending, because Freddy was getting kind of lovey-dovey with Larry, and the lightheartedness was becoming serious.  
Some animatics are made to see the pictures with the soundtrack--but when I made this, there was no dialogue or music recorded. So, it's silent with the words written in.

    I'd like to order 2 videos but this payment and order system is very confusing. I really don't feel comfortable leaving my email adress here, since I'm not really sure it won't show... So, can you please make an easier way to order the videos (they are great by the way, actually the best around)

      Your comment came to my inbox through Blogger. The return address for your email says "noreply-comment@blogger.com". Your real address remains a mystery to me--the only way I can answer you is to reply here. Cumbersome, isn't it?
      I have a golden rule--"Never post email addresses on the blog." And I have kept my word. You can read all the posted comments on Animan's World, but you'll never find an email address in them.
      I understand your discomfort. I'm starting to feel it myself!

    Thanks for sharing this with us! I really enjoyed the emotion and feeling in Guided By Passion, but I can see how the ending here with Freddy didn't quite fit in with the rest of the Camp story. Good call!

    Hello

    I bought th camp video but the downloading stopped because of a reset of the connection, I was in private mode in Google chrome and now I can't find how to download it again !!!
