A new year is upon us, Friends. First I must give a heartfelt "thank you" to all friends of Animan all over the globe. I never dreamed that my work would ever be known by so many.
As for the new year, it's my hope to break new ground as I animate more of the fantasies and dreams we all have in common.
I found this interesting lobby card---for a scene from an old movie called "The Desperadoes". A woman comes into the bedroom and finds two handsome men by the bed, and one of them is partially undressed! What a situation!
Randolph Scott is one of the actors. If you're not familiar with him, then I suggest Googling: Cary Grant & Randolph Scott. You'll find a lot of interesting information.

I could totally hear the guy behind the bed trying to say "This isn't what it looks like!" to the lady; meanwhile we all know better, right?
ReplyDeleteI delight in imagining what the lady in the picture might have found if she had come into the bedroom 5 minutes later! The expressions on the men's faces tell the whole story--uncontrollable lust, a need to perform the act, and now shame, after being discovered! What's not to love?

1) The new video will not be ready for quite a while. I was extremely sick for over a month with influenza. I temporarily lost my sense of smell, and my hearing was diminished temporarily. Sitting long hours at my computer was sheer agony. I'm well now, so I'm forging ahead. But it will be a while, yet.
2) The video will have an ancient Greek theme. I have been researching designs of buildings and clothing from that time period, which has also cost me time.
