DeleteI haven't seen "Lex" since I finished it back in March, so watching it now is an interesting experience for me. The mood is very slow and deliberate, and Lex talks about sex in a manner that is very clinical and academic. He teaches his son about sexual intercourse in a very direct and loving way. There's no guilt or shame. That's why I chose the doctor/son theme. It's almost like a sex education film from the 1950's. As the video continues, Lex begins to enjoy the naughtiness of what he's doing, and talks more like a male whore than a doctor. This excites his son Jess even more.
Perhaps Farmer John could have the cheese contract at the Country Club. He could cater for a cheese & wine party complete with fondue!

ReplyDeleteHi Jack! Thanks for the kind words about Lex. Whenever I'm making a video, I'm always completely immersed in it, and it's difficult to see things objectively. After it's finished, I like to wait a few months and look at the video again with a fresh eye. Recently, I did that with Lex, and I wasn't disappointed. I had tried to create a feeling of love and trust between the father and son, and I can actually feel it in the video! At first, the pace is slow, because they're being cautious with each other, but it feels very natural and logical. I'm starting to think that perhaps Lex is one of my better videos, especially because the father-son relationship seems a little bit real.

안녕! It would be definitely interesting to hear more about your stories behind the making of your work over tea or something. It is wonderful we are hosting such a talented individual! I believe you create such a super sweet imagination in your cartoon as for gay sex, and in my opinion, it is way hotter than real porn movies. ReplyDeleteAbout a year before this blog was born, I had a few of my free short videos posted on GayTube. I received a lot of fan mail, and one was a request from a fellow in Italy, that someday I would make a cartoon about a father and son.
DeletePersonally, I don't have any hangups about fathers and sons having intimacy, but a lot of men do--it's a sensitive subject--so I was a bit hesitant to make the cartoon. I tried to make the relationship between the dad and son a respectful and loving one. Since the father is a doctor, he is very open-minded about such things. For me, that's the only way it could work.
Now, Lex has become one of Animan's most requested videos, and I'm beginning to think that father/son situations are a bigger part of gay men's fantasies than I ever imagined! I plan to do another dad/son video as soon as it's possible.

DeleteI think Lex is very logical and compartmentalized in his thinking. When he thinks of medical school, he remembers his relationships with other guys in the dorm. Then, when he got married and had kids, that was a new and different compartment in his life and his mind.
DeleteThe first time Lex thinks about his son "that way" is shown in the video. It's when he notices his son's interest in him, when the son sprouts an erection. Suddenly he realizes that his son is hitting on him, and he makes the connection between his gay past and his son. And it becomes a physical connection.
