For the name of the female centaurs, the Disney artists coined the word "centaurettes", to make them sound dainty, smaller than their male counterparts, and with a French flair. Personally, I like the male centaurs in Fantasia much better.
True, censorship back then was murder!!! It was only sometimes in the early 1970's and forward that things got R.E.L.A.X.E.D. As a straight person I can certainly appreciate both side of the coin. I do like seeing pictures of naked men, something you could not see then unless I suppose you went down the gutters literally to some secretly kept store that hid the stuff under more "normal" looking merchandise.
As far as censorship goes, the 1960's in the U.S.A. were the dark ages. We have so much freedom now, it's unbelievable! This is indeed a much better time.
Animan's is good to write and get a feed back from you again. A miracle truly happened. Medicine did its best, but the Almighty got you through. take care dear friend.
Interesting dear Animan's World. Never seen it before. Thanks
